P. Sai Charan Raju and P. Sai Sruthi Raju, a talented brother-sister duo, are distinguished Carnatic classical musicians known for their vocal performances under the name Gaathra Yugalam. Their musical journey began with a solid foundation, having earned diplomas in Carnatic music from esteemed institutions such as Sri Sathya Sai Mirpuri College of Music and Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University. They further advanced their education by obtaining a Master’s degree in Music from Padmavathi Mahila Vishwavidyalayam, complemented by a Master’s in Telugu Literature and an MBA, showcasing heir diverse academic background 

Their musical education commenced at a young age under the guidance of their revered mother, Smt. Pavani Raju, and was further enriched by various esteemed gurus. A significant milestone in their training was the opportunity to learn from the legendary Padmavibhushan Late Sri Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna, a revered figure in Carnatic music. With 18 years of teaching experience, they have imparted their knowledge to hundreds of students across different age groups. Their performance portfolio is impressive, having conducted over 400 classical and devotional music concerts both in India and internationally, which speaks volumes about their dedication and expertise in the field.


Currently, they operate Swara-Jhari Sangeethaalayam in Puttaparthy, where they have successfully trained more than a hundred students and are actively teaching around 150 students both locally and online. Their online teaching extends to various countries, including the USA, Australia, and several European nations, reflecting their commitment to spreading the joy of Carnatic music globally. Additionally, they have established an online portal dedicated to classical music, aiming to foster a community of music enthusiasts and learners. Their initiative, “Sangeetha Mahayagnam” (Sa.Ma.Yam), focuses on raising awareness of classical music in schools across Andhra Pradesh, inspiring the younger generation through engaging music videos and competitions that celebrate Indian culture and devotion.







Over the years, the artists have successfully conducted more than 200 classical music concerts across various states in India, including Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Kerala. Their performances have taken place in numerous districts and notable locations such as Hyderabad, Shirdi, Tirupati, Bangalore, Chikballapur, Anantapur, Hindupur, Adilabad, Nizamabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, Kurnool, Guntur, Vijayawada, Bapatla, Chittoor, Kadapa, Prakasam, Anuppur, Shoranur, and Palakkad. Additionally, they have extended their musical outreach internationally, performing in cities like Kuala Lumpur, Selayang, and Rawang in Malaysia.  

The musicians are proficient in a variety of traditional instruments, including the Veena, Harmonium, Keyboard, Tabla, Dholak, and Tambourine. Their repertoire encompasses a wide range of musical styles, featuring classical, semi-classical, and devotional bhajans. They are also actively involved in conducting classical music awareness programs and have made appearances as casual artists on All India Radio. Their television presence includes participation in esteemed classical music programs such as "Swarasamaram" and "Kalabharathi" on Doordarshan Sapthagiri Channel, as well as "Swara Raga Sudha" on Sri Venkateshwara Bhakthi Channel (SVBC) in Tirupati. Their classical music recordings have reached audiences in 70 countries through broadcasts by 3zzz Melbourne Radio in Australia.  
The artists view music as a divine art form, believing that their performances are guided by God's will and grace. 

They are committed to promoting classical (Shaasthreeya) and soulful (Atmeeya) music globally, with the aim of fostering universal peace and harmony. Any financial gains from their performances are dedicated to supporting orphanages, focusing on education, computer training, and nurturing future musicians. This initiative is a powerful project aimed at societal welfare, emphasizing that collective efforts rooted in unity and purity yield the best outcomes. Their contributions to the field of classical music have been recognized by Dr. Pattabhi Kalapeetham in Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, which awarded them the "State Level Award" for their service in classical music.
